What exactly are they doing to try and combat or change your issue?
-They seek to end hunger and poverty by empowering people to rely on themselves, meet their basic needs and build better future for their children
-Empower women as key change agent to reach gender equality
-Provide enough food for everyone to be healthy and productive
-Healthy and strong babies with gender equality
-Women and girls are partners in society
-People have control over their own life
-Keeping families small
-Each individual has a chance to contribute
What are some of the things you like about their program?
I like how THP not only focuses on current poverty but also the future management. They obviously want the Ugandans to be able to manage things on their own. I also like how THP has a program which allows citizens in Europe to adopt a child and send money to them every month. In that way, more children will be saved.
What are some questions you have about it? Obviously, to build wells and other things, they need money. I want to know where they get their financial supports from. Also, they only work in some places of Africa, I want to know why too. Lastly, I want to know about the future programs they have in their minds. How could you become involved with this organization or model your action plan after it? We actually want to adopt a child and send money. By doing that, we’ll understand more about their situation. On the website, it says with just $1 (US) per day, a child can go to school and have fresh water and food. By knowing more about this website, it will allow me to know more about their plans.If I had to model my plan after this, I would model a plan that is similar to the children adoption. It’s because I think it’s the most effective way of help children.

What exactly are they doing to try and combat or change your issue?
They set up word games for people of all ages to play and for each correct answer they get, Free Rice donates 10 grains of rice through the UN World Food Program to help end food poverty all around the world.
What are some of the things you like about their program?
They create games of different subjects to attract people from all around the world to play and learn while at the same time donate rice to the poor.
What are some questions you have about it?
Why does free rice choose to put on quizzes and not games? Who pays for the donated rice? Specifically where are the places that donated rice goes to? How much rice is donated per year?
How could you become involved with this organization or model your action plan after it?
By answering the questions on free rice, sponsors would be donating grains to help poverty. We could create a website and do something similar but donate money instead of grains because by giving them money, they could decide on their own what to use the money on and be more independent
